Your donation to RAICES will provide access to crucial legal services that benefit recipients of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and their families who rely on the federal program to live, work, and contribute to the country they call home.
Since the program’s inception, RAICES has supported filings for thousands of undocumented youth in Texas, including DACA renewals for over 1,000 clients in the last two years.
RAICES vows to defend the nearly 600,000 people currently protected under DACA who continue to live in political and legal limbo as the case Texas v. U.S. continues to move through the court system, and will likely head to the Supreme Court for a final ruling on the program’s legality. And this fall, we will host free legal clinics in key markets in Texas — home to the second-largest population of DACA recipients.
