The time to change the narrative around immigration and immigration stories is NOW.
The Uprooted + Uplifted Campaign aims to remind and educate the American public that families are still separated, incarcerated and criminalized for seeking asylum, and that a militarized border created and contributed to ongoing human rights violations by enforcement agencies, especially Customs and Border Patrol.
We are here to tell real stories of people seeking asylum; share their experiences from uprooting their lives to finding hope here in the United States and finding ways to uplift themselves and their families.
