On November 20, 2014, the President announced that, in 2015, USCIS would begin accepting requests for DAPA, Deferred Action for Parents of U.S. Citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents. If you receive deferred action under DAPA, you may be able to stay in the United States temporarily without fear of deportation. In addition, you will be considered for employment authorization, which would allow you to work legally in the United States, for a three year period.

To learn if you qualify for DAPA, you may consult with one of RAICES' legal representatives. RAICES accepts walk-in consultations only on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. at the following locations:

Crestway, 5121 Crestway Drive, #105, San Antonio, TX 78239

Flores, 1305 North Flores Street, San Antonio, TX 78212

$30 consultation fee (RAICES only accepts payment by cash or credit card)

Please note that USCIS is not accepting any requests or applications for DAPA at this time, however we can help you prepare your documents for when the application process begins.
