Support Casa de Raices

Each night, Casa de Raices provides a bed a warm meal and an inviting space for 40 refugee families just released from immigration detention. Each and every refugee family is provided with a bed to sleep in, a warm home-cooked meal, a shower and a chance to take a deep breath before beginning a 2-3 day bus trip to reunite with family around the United States.

Each month Casa de Raices serves at least 800 refugee children and mothers, all of whom have been released from either the Karnes or Dilley Family Detention Centers. These families have often endured months of migration through Central America and Mexico before arriving in the United States where they are, sadly, greeted by the prospect of spending weeks in family detention. The work of Casa de Raices is daily and would not be possible without support from people just like you!

All money raised for Casa de Raices will help support our work in serving these refugee families. Please consider making a $21 donation to support one family, a $42 donation to help two families or an $84 donation to help a family of four.
