WHAT
It is time for President Joe Biden and Democrats in Congress to keep their decades-long promise and provide relief and protection to the millions of people who are still in the shadows. Especially, during the worst pandemic of our lifetime. We can’t accept any more excuses. There has to be a winning strategy from the party that campaigns on supporting immigrants.
We demand that President Biden and Democrats in Congress keep their promise and provide the immigrant community with;
- freedom to work with dignity and respect
- freedom from detention
- freedom from deportation.
They must pledge that they will use every tool at their disposal, such as;
- supporting legalization through the reconciliation process;
- abolishing the filibuster;
- using executive action to end the detention and deportation machine;
- using executive power to give administrative relief to as many people as possible.
