RAICES Emergency Response Resources

Welcome from RAICES

RAÍCES is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that fights for and defends the rights of immigrant and refugee children and families. Established by community activists in 1986, RAÍCES pairs direct legal and social services with advocacy focused on changing the narrative around immigration in the U.S.

The RAÍCES Rural Legal Services team provides free and bilingual consultations and legal representation for immigrants escaping violence at home or in their community. Our attorneys can provide guidance and support for immigrant survivors of crime, trafficking, domestic violence, and more throughout rural Texas.

The document below was produced in collaboration with Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid and includes information on the rights and resources available to families in Uvalde.
