Blaze of Glory

While working on family reunification for unaccompanied immigrant minors, I noticed that many of their sponsors lived in New Jersey, which would make me think of Jon Bon Jovi. The stories the sponsors and minors would tell me as I worked on getting their cases approved reminded me of the song 'Blaze of Glory.' I doubt the song was meant to be about immigration, but talking about this song (and songs in general) helped both me and the sponsors get through the challenges and demands of the case. Drawing parallels between art and life (even if the life stories were difficult) was beautiful and poetic.
