Take the Pledge: I Will Fight for Families Seeking Safety and Asylum in the U.S.

The right to seek asylum has been protected by federal and international law and was established in the wake of our nation’s unfathomable decision to bar Jewish Holocaust survivors and other victims of World War II from immigrating to the U.S. in 1945. Yet, misleading media coverage is stoking fear and anxiety in the public as families seeking safety and asylum within the U.S. arrive in El Paso, Texas.

We need a growing number of voices to amplify our commitment to welcoming families seeking safety and security in the U.S. — and to push back against the harmful media narratives that are keeping us from living up to our values as a nation.
