Today, the United States Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on one of the biggest immigration cases of the year: Biden v. Texas.
A decision in this case could mean the end of Trump’s “Remain in Mexico Policy” (RMX), which forces migrants to wait for weeks and even months in dangerous makeshift camps in Mexico while their cases move forward in U.S. immigration court.
Together with our coalition partners, RAICES has relentlessly pushed for this policy to end. In fact, RAICES litigators recently filed an Amicus Brief that includes first-hand accounts from people impacted by RMX to be considered by the U.S. Supreme Court. And we won’t stop fighting until this racist, cruel and immoral policy ends for good.
Our advocacy and litigation efforts are made possible by the generosity of our RAICES community. Will you consider supporting this critical work today?
