Since our founding in 1986, RAICES has worked tirelessly on behalf of the migrant community in the United States. This Giving Tuesday, our work is focused on freeing immigrants from detention. Our end goal is to #FreeThemAll.
RAICES evolved from a staff of several people — providing food and medical assistance to Central American refugees fleeing civil war in an office without air conditioning — to become one of the largest legal service providers to immigrants in the country.
Because of donors like you, we’ve continued to put our expertise, creativity, and passion to work for those seeking safety and a better life in the United States. We’re deepening our services and our impact and we have you to thank for that.
